Creston Varsity Basketball Autism Awareness Night

Did you know that 1 out of every 110 children born in Kent County is on the autism spectrum? This is up from 1 in 150 in 2009.

Help to spread awareness of autism in Kent County – and have some fun too! Creston Autism Awareness Night is Friday, February 24th at Creston High School, 1720 Plainfield NE, Grand Rapids.

The Creston Boys’ and Girls’ Varsity Basketball teams will square off against the Lowell Red Arrows. Doors open at 5:15pm. The girls tip off at 6:00pm,and the boys' game follows at 7:30pm.

Each student in attendance is eligible to win prizes. Pre-game and half-time events include free throw shooting contests and prize drawings. Autism awareness products, such as t-shirts, ribbon pins, and car magnets will be for sale.

Tickets are $5 each and are available at the door. Admission is free with the purchase of a $10 t-shirt. $1 from each ticket sold will be donated to ASK.

Come out to support the Creston and Lowell Boys’ and Girls’ Varsity Basketball teams and help to spread autism awareness!
