The Countdown Continues For Muskegon Heights Schools
Posted Thursday, June 5th 2014 @ 4am  by WOOD Radio News Team

In three weeks, the Muskegon Heights public schools must have a budget and a management company.

In two weeks, the schools' Emergency Manager says the decision will be made on which company to hire.

You may recall that we reported the Muskegon Heights Public Schools board allegedly generated  half a dozen applicants in the last few days before its deadline near the end of last month.

WOOD TV reports that school system still will not say who those applicants are.

Reportedly, the Board also is trying to keep Superintendent Alena Zachary-Ross, who ran the district under the Mosaica management company, to stay on board.
