Anyone looking to be a part of a Hollywood movie that will be filmed in the Upper Peninsula, now is your chance.

The film is called Superior and it follows two recent high school graduates who bike 1,300 miles around Lake Superior in 1969.

Their travels take them from the Keweenaw Peninsula to Minnesota, then across Canada and back into the U.S. near Sault Ste. Marie.

Superior is produced and directed by Edd Benda, a Michigan native. The film will be shot from late June to mid-July.

Auditions for supporting roles in the film are Sunday, June 8 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Jutila Center in Hancock.

For more information on auditions, you can email superiorthemovie@gmail.com. More information and updates on Superior can be found on the film’s Facebook page.
