Lakeshore Communities Enact New Graffiti Laws

The cities of Holland and Zeeland both have new local laws requiring homeowners to cover up any graffiti that is put on their properties.

Zeeland gives you a week, but the city of Holland could send a city crew to take care of it and send you the bill, after five days.

Holland's director of Community and Neighborhood Services told WOOD TV that getting 'tags' covered over is important.

Phil Meyer says they are like broken windows.  If they are not fixed, it makes the whole area look run down.
