Higher Michigan Minimum Wage has Public Support

The newest survey on Michigan's battle of the Minimum Wages show that neither idea has more support than the other among voters.

Recall, that the issue on the ballot is to raise the Minimum Wage to $10.10 an hour, and index that to inflation.

The plan that our state Senators voted-for would boot the Minimium Wage to $9.20 an hour and cut off the other proposal if the state House were to agrees

WOOD TVw reports that the pollsters at Epic MRA find that, even though both issues have identical support among voters, more than half said it was wrong for the state Senate to try to cut off the public vote.

At this point, "Raise Michigan" expects its plan on the ballot in November, but if the Senate version becomes law first, the Raise Michigan pan would not happen.
