Statement from GR City Manager Greg Sundstrom, Saturday midday:

We have been hit again, with expected snowfall totals near 12 inches before Monday morning. Streets and highways across the region are difficult to traverse due to the heavy snowfall and blowing winds. The City is advising that people use extreme caution if traveling today.

The City has all available resources dedicated to a full, around-the-clock response until all City streets are clear. Due to the heavy snow and blowing winds, the City is struggling to keep up with the storm. The City is asking everyone to be patient until the streets are cleared.

The City is currently snowplowing residential streets, including dead-end and cul-de-sac streets. The City hopes to clear all streets in time for the Monday morning commute.
