The Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce announced the Top 10 finalists for an award recognizing women for community leadership.
"The Young ATHENA Professional finalists all exemplify some great qualities as emerging leaders," Roberta Sniatecki, vice president branch manager at PNC Financial and chair of the ATHENA committee, said in a statement. "They are setting the course for some amazing things to happen within our community."
The ATHENA award recognizes women for the leadership in the community and their ability to serve as professional role models.
The finalists are:

-Joanne Roehm, Gilda's Club
-Megan Sall, The Right Place, Inc.
-Jenn Schaub, Dwelling Place of Grand Rapids, Inc.
-Melissa Seguin, Baker Holtz
-Lizzie Williams, Open Systems Technologies
Award recipients will be announced at a Sept. 18 event at the Grand Plaza Hotel.
