The FBI has released more information in the investigation into a threat that forced a Delta Airlines flight from Detroit to Denver to land in a remote airfield at Denver International Airport.

Flight 1500 had departed Metro Airport in Detroit Friday afternoon and was close to landing in Denver when a flight attendant found a note that said there was a bomb on board near the rear of the plane.

All 151 passengers and six crew members landed safely, and were escorted off the plane, and were able to return two hours later to retrieve any bags in the overhead bins.

An FBI spokesperson says they believe the threat was not credible.
