The Chicago White Sox scored seven runs in the seventh inning on their way to an (11-4) win over the Detroit Tigers in the opener of a three game series at Comerica Park last night.  Bryan Holaday had two RBI as the Tigers plated two in the first inning and two more in the eighth, but Detroit lost their fourth-straight game.  Starter Anibal Sanchez was tagged with the loss, giving up six hits and five runs, four earned, in six and one-third innings.  Tonight, Max Scherzer gets the start for the Tigers while the White Sox send Hector Noesi to the mound.  First pitch is 7:08.  Also, the Tigers have not yet decided when Andy Dirks will return to the field as he works his way back to the lineup.  According to manager Brad Ausmus, the team does not have a date when Dirks will continue his rehab.

The Detroit Lions training camp continues with a practice this evening at Wayne State University.  Fans attending " The Lions in the D" will be able to watch drills at Tom Adams Field beginning at 7:30pm.
