Miguel Cabrera and Torii Hunter both hit home runs to help the Detroit Tigers get out of the loss column last night. Hunter tied the score with a solo shot in the seventh inning and Detroit manufactured the deciding run in the 8th. as pinch-runner Rajai Davis took second base on a passed ball, stole third base, and scored on Austin Jackson's ground out. Tigers starter Max Scherzer allowed five runs in six innings and did not figure in the decision. The two teams will play game-three of their four-game series tonight with game time 10:05pm. Anibal Sanchez will take the mound for Detroit while Scott Kazmir will get the start for Oakland.
In other Tigers news, first baseman Miguel Cabrera and second baseman Ian Kinsler have an early lead in voting for the All-Star Game. Cabrera leads Albert Pujols by nearly 70-thousand votes while Kinsler is six-thousand votes ahead of Robinson Cano. Fans can cast their ballots for starters at MLB.com through July 3rd..
The Oklahoma City Thunder took Game #4 last night (105-92) over San Antonio. That evens the Western Conference Finals series at 2 games-a-piece. Russell Westbrook had a monster game for the Thunder with 40 points, 10 assists and 5 rebounds....Kevin Durant chipped in with 31 points.

Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle Derek Landri worked out for the Detroit Lions yesterday in Allen Park. The 30-year-old played in nine games for Tampa Bay last season and played part of the 2012 season with Philadelphia.
